Sensors for Woven Material (cloth, window screen, gauze)
Infrared sensors feature a modulated light source making them insensitive to ambient light. They are generally used for opaque webs, but some can be used for clear films when used with an amplifier. Specifically for woven materials, the First*Edge Sensor has the ability to 'see' materials regardless of variations in porosity.
